Hunter Laser Vision collects your personal information directly from you unless it is unreasonable or impracticable to do so. Hunter Laser Vision collects personal information that you provide:

Hunter Laser Vision do not provide your personal information to other organisations for the purposes of direct marketing.

Your personal information may be stored at our Practice in various forms. Most health records are stored in electronic form through a highly secure cloud database. Some are stored in hard copy at our secure locations or offsite secure archive.
Hunter Laser Vision takes reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is protected from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Personal information is destroyed or de-identified when no longer needed.
As our websites are linked to the Internet, and the Internet is inherently insecure, we cannot provide any assurance regarding the security of transmission of information you communicate to us online. Accordingly, any personal information or other information which you transmit to us online is transmitted at your own risk.
HOW CAN YOU ACCESS AND CORRECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AT OUR PRACTICE?
You have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information.
Our Practice acknowledges patients may request access to their medical records. We require you to put this request in writing and our practice will respond within a reasonable time (up to 30 days). Some requests for medical information (we will inform you directly) will attract a fee which is payable prior to release.
Our Practice will take reasonable steps to correct your personal information where the information is not accurate or up to date. From time to time, we will ask you to verify that your personal information held by our practice is correct and current. You may also request that we correct or update your information, and you should make such requests in writing on the details below (under ‘Contacting Us’)
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
